But by dismantling the video material accurately, this sequence shows up completely different aspects. The hunter and the hunted seem to move against a strong resistance of the environment. Dreamlike they float in the air and stand still again, the next second, while the world around quakes and shakes. The hunt becomes a sinister parable, enforced by the equipment of the child with colonial attributes such as a safari hat and binoculars. This strengthens the threateningness of the atmosphere. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Eine alltägliche Szene - ein Junge macht im Stadtpark Jagd auf Tauben. Die Bearbeitung des Videomaterials in eine akurate Zerlegung der Sequenz lässt jedoch ganz andere Aspekte zum Vorschein kommen. Jäger und Gejagte scheinen sich nur gegen den großen Widerstand der Umgebung zu bewegen. Tagtraumartig schweben sie in der Luft und stehen dann gleich wieder still, während die Welt drum herum erzittert. Die Jagd wird zur Parabel, die Ausstattung des Kindes mit kolonialen Attributen wie Safarihut und Fernglas verstärkt die Bedrohlichkeit der Atmosphäre.     TOP  of the page
