of the chlorinated tap water in Paris I covered my daily need of
drinking water by plastic bottles; a whole summer long.
Its as like in the desert – the one who is thirsty needs to drink. The action shown in the video brings up topics of autonomy, bodily dependencies and the handling of vital resources. All bottles used in the performance I floored personally during my stay and collected them in my storage chamber. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Da in Paris das Leitungswasser gechlort ist, habe ich meinen täglichen Bedarf an Trinkwasser durch Plastikflaschen gedeckt; einen ganzen Sommer lang. Es ist wie in der Wüste - wer dürstet, muß trinken. Die im Video gezeigte Aktion thematisiert körperliches Angewiesen-Sein und den Umgang mit lebenswichtigen Ressourcen, Energiezuständen und Verhaltensformen. Sämtliche in der Performance verwendeten Flaschen habe ich innerhalb meines Aufenthaltes dort selbst ausgetrunken und in meiner Abstellkammer gesammelt. TOP of the page |
