It is linked to a loud-speaker system, hence on-line. My lips are touching the microphone; this gesture provokes erotic images – but the sensuous stimulus of this image is in sharp contrast to the acoustic experiences in the video. At first irritating as an alien element, sound and image are obtaining an evocative relation during the performance and become eventually linked together. Sound and the use of voice are key elements of „sirene“. Communicating and being the artistic medium both at the same time, the body itself stays therefore connected to technical processes like feedback, oversteer and distortion. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Die Kamera zeigt mich in Aktion mit einem Mikrophon, welches auf einem Stativ vor mir steht. Es ist an eine Lautsprecher-Anlage angeschlossen, also „online“. Immer wieder wird es von meinen Lippen berührt. Diese Geste provoziert erotische Vorstellungen – doch die sinnlichen Reize des Bildes stehen im krassen Gegensatz zum akustischen Erleben des Videos, denn jedes Mal, wenn ich das Mikrophon in den Mund nehme, erklingt das Feedback der Raumfrequenz in meinem Mund. Während der Performance moduliere ich mit meinem Mundraum den Klang des hohen, schrillen Klirrens. Anfänglich als Fremdkörper irritierend, stellt sich allmählich ein Zusammenhang zwischen Bild- und Tonebene her. Klang und der Einsatz von Stimme als Indikatoren sind Schlüsselelemente von „sirene“. Der Körper als Kommunikator und Medium der künstlerischen Auseinandersetzung bleibt mit technischen Prozessen wie Feedback und Verzerrung verbunden     TOP  of the page
