< BACK TO WORKS                                         "KÖLNER LÖCHER"                 Contribution to the project TEARDROPS etc.                 of StrzeleckiBooks                                 Citymap of Cologne, cut through with the shape of a tear                 2010                    On the 03.03.2009 the Historisches Archiv of the City of Cologne collapsed, due to construction works on the underground.                 Historic treasures of the High Middle Ages as well as many literary remains such as of the german writer Heinrich Böll were destroyed.                 2 people died in the debris, 1 comitted suicide. A "ground zero"-like whole rises in the heart of the city.                 For the project "Teardrops etc." of StrzeleckiBooks, which transforms a symbol in the City Arms of Cologne to a teardrop on the backside of the above said                 tragic events, I contributed "KÖLNER LÖCHER".                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          TOP  of the page
